Our story
Bhadohi has made carpets since before most of the world had floors worth covering.
Walk through it and you hear the same sound in every second lane — the dull thud of a tufting gun, the scrape of a shearing blade, wool dust in the afternoon light.
We grew up around that sound. What we did not grow up around was anyone selling it well. The rugs left in trucks and came back years later in foreign catalogues, with somebody else's name on them.
